Game on, City Hatchback! First look at the 2024 Toyota Yaris G Limited with cold air intake, handling upgrades - 600 units only, RM 99k
This is your first look at the live photos of the 2024 Toyota Yaris G Limited, the special-run variant of the marque’s popular hatch.
Starting from RM 99,600, only 600 units of the Yaris G Limited will be produced. Each comes with a host of visual and slight performance upgrades as its main draws.
Starting from the outside, the hatch gains red tinges with its aerokit, dual-tone colourway (black roof, side mirrors, spoiler) that can be paired to all traditional Yaris colours, and G Limited badges.
As it builds upon the regular Yaris G, it has 16-inch wheels, LED headlights, and LED rear combination tail lights as well. The interior is unchanged – fabric seats, Optitron gauges, and the updated 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality.
Under the skin is where the real news is: by the engine bay there’s a cold air intake, which theoratically should up power and torque slightly. Aiding things along is the RaceChip throttle controller that’s said to help with throttle response.
For context, the stock 1.5-litre 2NR-FE engine in the Yaris makes 107 PS and 140 Nm, paired to a CVT.
Complementing the performance are a set of chassis-stiffening braces; one by the strut tower up front, another by the front crossmember, another by the rear beam, and a pair of lower rear braces.
Safety-wise, the Yaris G Limited comes with autonomous emergency braking, lane departure alert, and 7 airbags.
Warranty coverage for the entire car is the standard 5-years/100,000 km, though the additional performance parts are covered only for 1-year/20,000 km.
With this variant’s introduction, the Yaris price list for Malaysia is as such:
- Yaris 1.5 E – RM 88,000
- Yaris 1.5 G – RM 91,600
- Yaris 1.5 G Limited – RM 99,600
