Proton has just launched the new and updated 2023 Proton Exora, now equipped with the new roundel Proton logo. Stability control (ESC) is also now standard across the board. Curiously, there's no mention of an improved oil cooler hose (OCH).

The 2023 Proton Exora is priced from RM 62,800 for the Executive variant, while the Premium variant is priced from RM 69,800. This marks an increase of RM 3k compared to the earlier model, SST included.

Yes, it’s that minor. Proton has finally replaced the old logo with the newer roundel one. The new logo is featured prominently on the front and the rear of this MPV. The rest of the updated Exora is visually identical to its 2019 update.

The top-spec Premium variant gets the same dual-tone 16-inch rims, as well as the gunmetal body kit and black side mirror covers. The rear fog light has also been axed in this update.

Inside, the Premium variant continues to offer the 7-inch infotainment system with “Hi Proton” voice command system, capable of understanding navigation and entertainment commands.

While airbag count is still a paltry 2, Proton has expanded stability control (ESC) to the lower grade Executive variant.

Apart from the aforementioned changes, the rest of the 2023 Proton Exora remains unchanged. This 7-seater MPV continues to be motivated by a turbocharged 1.6-litre CamPro CFE 4-cylinder petrol engine that does 140 PS and 205 Nm, hooked up to a CVT transmission.
