Senior (Defence) Minister Ismail Sabri has announced today that the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Penang, Selangor, Kelantan, Sabah, Melaka, Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan will be extended to 4 February 2021.
This will streamline the MCO period for all states in Peninsular Malaysia to the same date. Just Tuesday 19 January 2021, the government has decided to implement MCO in the remaining states of Peninsular Malaysia from 22 January to 4 February 2021.
Currently, only Sarawak remains observing the Recovery MCO.
