It is official – Naza Eastern Motors, Suzuki’s official distributor in Malaysia, has confirmed that the 2021 Suzuki Jimny will be launched here in August.

Thus far, according to Nik Hamdam, Naza Eastern Motors has received nearly 20 orders for the iconic SUV, despite the company not announcing anything. He added that the Jimny will be imported (CBU) from Japan.
“In fact, the order ratio we received for the Jimny and Swift Sport is 3:1, indicating that the model is popular among buyers here,” he added.
To recap, the all-new Suzuki Jimny is powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine that dispenses 102 PS and 130 Nm. Globally, the Jimny is available with a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic, though the latter is more likely to be the sole transmission option.
