After teasing last month, Hyundai officially launches the 2021 Hyundai Elantra N Line sports sedan. It promises to provide buyers an attractive entry point to Hyundai’s N Brand line-up of high-performance models.

The Elantra N Line is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre GDI engine that produces up to 204 PS and 264 Nm. This is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.

Hyundai engineers have also improved the sport sedan’s suspension for a stiffer, grippier performance with the help of multi-link independent rear suspension and larger front brake rotors.

The Elantra N Line is differentiated by the regular Elantra by its sporty ‘low and wide’ styling which includes an aggressive-looking cascading grille which is a trademark N Line design element. The sports sedan also has 18-inch wheels, glossy black side skirts, integrated spoiler, chrome twin exhaust, and N Line rear diffuser.

Inside, the Elantra N Line has a sporty interior with a leather-wrapped perforated N steering wheel with metallic spokes, N sport seats with leather bolsters, alloy pedals, and a gearshift with metal accents and leather inserts. It also comes with paddle shifters and Drive Mode Selector system.

The Elantra N Line is equipped with ADAS such as blind-spot monitors, AEB, lane-following assist, and lane-keeping assist. So no worries for those concerned about this Korean sports sedan's safety features.

Hyundai also plans to further expand the N Line line-up with the Sonata N Line expected to be launched later in 2020. This will be powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged GDI engine.
