Pros & Cons
Pros
Gorgeous Looks
Sleek, low-slung and muscular looking is sure to turn heads anywhere you go.Fancy & Plush Interior Cabin
The high-tech, modern and well-appointed cabin delivers plenty of everyday comfort.Great Riding Dynamics
Delivers plenty of power, while also having outstanding road-handling capabilities with stellar roadster package with plenty of appeal.
Cons
Limited Boot Space
The space is just enough for a weekend trip, however most of the space is already gobbled up by the 18-inch space-saver which leaves very little room for anything else.Android Auto
For some reason, Android Auto hasn’t integrated into the technology system. Apple users will be happy that Apple CarPlay is a standard feature, but Android users will have to sit back and wonder why they haven't been included yet.

Overview
BMW Z4 – Overview
The BMW Z4 looks much sleeker and gorgeous than ever before, with a wider and low-slung stance giving it a smart road presence reminiscent of one of the most practical two-seater convertibles available in the market. The standard M sport trim in its latest generation model could make the other more affordable convertibles look paler with its revamped design in and out compared to its rival Toyota Supra and Mercedes Benz SLC Class.
Exterior
BMW Z4 – Exterior
The frontal look of the BMW Z4 has been made to appear a bit different from the rest of the BMW cars, with sweptback full LED headlamps laid in a vertically angular manner looking daytime running LEDs. The double kidney grille has a wider look, which is here finished in black wit vertical slats to accentuate its sporty persona.
The side view enhanced with an elegance longer profile with increased wheelbase and large alloy wheels. The twin character line flowing upwards from the front wheel arch to tail lamps do make it look edgy, with an aerodynamically placed slanted air vent behind the front wheel arch with 225/45 R18 wheel.
At the rear, it gets wider and horizontally stretched full LED tail lamps with a wider boot design and bigger rear bumper, with integrated boot-mounted spoiler and faux vents on the corners of the rear bumper matched with 255/40 R18 wheel.
Interior
BMW Z4 – Interior
The BMW Z4 gets an all-new cabin that looks as futuristic as it can, with an all-new layout comprising of the latest gadgetries and components. It features luxe materials, exceptional panel fitment, and excellent control placement. Its seats are comfortable with sizable bolsters to hold you in place when you’re enjoying the Z4’s dynamics.
One can have the interior cabin in one of the multiple dual-tone upholstery options – Ivory white with black, all black, Magma Red with black, walnut brown with black and black with contrast blue stitching. There are also three trim levels available – high gloss black, mesh-effect aluminium, and tetragonal aluminium.
The sleek and wide looking panel for the AC vents and controls for music system and automatic climate control in the lower layer of the dashboard make the cabin look wider. The cabin matches the sporty appeal, with a cool looking fully digital TFT MID instrument console behind the M-sport multi-functional steering wheel.
There are several storage bins, including one in the centre console and a felt-lined cubby to the left of the steering wheel. There’s also a netted shelf behind the seats and two big cupholders up front. At 280 litres, the trunk isn’t huge, but it’ll swallow luggage for two for a quick weekend road trip.

Ride Comfort
BMW Z4 – Ride Comfort
The BMW Z4 is fitted with top-notch hardware, which includes BMW’s finely engineered variable sport steering with agile response and Sport mode in the transmission, which do match with the M-sport suspension setup which makes the handling of the car quite precise. Though, this makes the ride quality quite stiff.
There is also more room inside than you might expect, even for those taller than six feet. When the top is up, the interior is impressively quiet, with so little wind or road noise. With the push of a button, the elegant soft-top folds away in 10 seconds. A wind blocker is standard to keep wind buffeting to a minimum with the top down, even at high speeds for thrilling driving experiences in the open air.
Conclusion
BMW Z4 – Conclusion
The BMW Z4 has made the convertible look visually striking and bigger than ever before. The inclusion of modern amenities, the BMW Z4 looks and feels futuristic couple with BMW’s traditional virtues of a fine ride and handling balance make it a driver’s delight of driving enjoyment and top-down fun-in-the-sun but is also comfortable enough to drive every day.
